OUR MISSION

WellAware enables Oil & Gas customers to optimize production, reduce operational costs, minimize downtime, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance through reliable data collection, exception-based monitoring, and actionable analytics.

OPEN POSITIONS

PRODUCT MANAGER

The Product Manager role is responsible for the commercial success of WellAware’s Production Management solution, which includes hardware, network, and software. The role is responsible for overseeing customer requirements from inception ideation through design, build, launch, and growth.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and lead product strategy for WellAware’s Production Management product
  • Identify and validate key market requirements
  • Work with hardware engineering and software development teams for documenting customer requirements and owning roadmap
  • Lead pricing process and win/loss analysis
  • Serve as Product Owner in the SCRUM development process
  • Own Solution Validation and release to market
  • Develop go-to-market strategies to achieve Production Management revenue goals
  • Support Sales and Customer Success with strategic and reference customers

Minimum qualifications

  • Petroleum, Electrical, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor of Science degree
  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise Oil and Gas SCADA systems
  • Experience with artificial lift optimization systems and Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) are a plus
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as applicable
  • Either San Antonio or Houston based (willing to relocate if needed)
