Senior Account Executive
The Company is looking to add a Senior Account Executive position to its Sales Team. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for identifying and closing on business opportunities with new customers and our existing customer base. We are seeking an organized, effective communicator with experience in the oil and gas industry who can highlight the value of the Company’s products and services. This individual should be motivated, flexible, energetic, and able to collaborate cross-functionally, both internally and externally.

Job Description
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers at the regional, corporate, and executive levels of oil and gas related companies, becoming a trusted technology advisor.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are addressed promptly.
- Demonstrate technical expertise to both C-level executives and field engineers.
- Stay up-to-date on WellAware products and services, industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
- Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals with clients.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress against targets, and market feedback.
- Collaborate with the executive management team to develop accurate sales forecasts.
- Work closely with colleagues in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Visit with customers and potential customers at their facilities and field locations.
- Attend national industry trade shows and conferences.
- Comfortable populating and utilizing a CRM to update the deal pipeline and status.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of business-to-business sales experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry, Upstream & Midstream Operators, or directly for Oil Field Services. Experience with chemical service providers.
- Extensive Energy and/or Industrial experience is preferred.
- Strong technology sales experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation Processes — controls, communication systems, information technology, SCADA-like deployments, and software — is preferred.
- Excellent presentation and customer engagement skills at all levels of an organization.
- Strong technical operations, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
- A history of overachieving against budget combined with overall team and company objectives.
- A strong work ethic and the desire to be part of a dynamic sales team in a rapidly growing technology industry.
- Willingness to travel 30-50%.
