Matt Harrison
Matt is Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and a member of our Board of Directors since WellAware’s founding. He has more than 20 years of experience delivering results in high-growth technology companies. At WellAware, Matt drives the overall business and company strategy, ensuring the company has the right people, capital, and resources available to serve its customers well.
Matt is also a partner with InCube Ventures, a leading medical device venture capital firm, with offices in California and Texas. Prior to joining InCube, Matt was the General Manager of Texas Instruments Medical Business Unit, where he was responsible for overall direction, growth, strategy, promotion, and execution of the business. Matt began his career with Texas Instruments (TI) and held many roles and management positions. He led the creation of two internal business units for TI that contribute more than $50M in revenue, one focused in optical networking and the other in digital power.
Matt holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University

Daniel Dawson
Daniel manages all Accounting, Finance, Treasury, and Human Resources activities for the company. Prior to joining WellAware, Daniel was a Senior Financial Analyst for C.H. Guenther & Son. Additionally, he spent six years in public accounting working for EY’s assurance practice with a principal focus on telecommunications, energy, and healthcare.
Daniel holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in Accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

David Figoli
David manages WellAware’s Network and Field Automation Telemetry, with responsibility for design and deployment of Remote Data Collection, Processing, and Control technologies in conjunction with intelligent Networks and Field equipment. Prior to joining WellAware, David was with Texas Instruments (TI) as a Senior Technical Manager for the World Wide Industrial Processor group. Additionally he held the position of Distinguished Member on TI’s Technical Council, and has 20+ years experience in Industrial control, power and communications systems.
David holds an Electrical Engineering Degree from UNSW (University of New South Wales) Sydney, Australia

Ben Wilhite
Ben serves as Co-CEO and Director of National Accounts for WellAware and is responsible for the strategic direction of the company with a particular focus on sales execution. Prior to joining WellAware, Ben founded and served as CEO of Oilfield Labs of America, an analytical laboratory network for the oil and gas industry. There he worked with most major oil and gas companies to ensure the highest quality of chemical testing services in the fastest time available in the market. Early in his career Ben worked for a variety of oilfield and financial services companies, including Bosque Systems, Assurance Land & Minerals, and Black Talon Energy Partners.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University.

John Morgan
John manages WellAware’s production, supply chain, fulfillment, Client Success and field operations. He previously served as WellAware’s Director of Solutions Engineering, Director of Product Management, and VP of Production – Oil and Gas. Prior to joining WellAware, John held a variety of leadership positions in the medical device industry for 10+ years, leading teams from concept to commercialization in both start-up and corporate environments. In his early career he analyzed offshore and sub-sea environments for oil and gas customers, deploying and testing flexible hose and buoy configurations.
John holds a BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Texas State University, 16 patents or patents pending and is a Professional Engineer, Mechanical, in the State of Texas.

Katie Barbera
Katie is responsible for WellAware’s marketing and partnership initiatives. She has been with WellAware in roles of increasing responsibilty since the company’s early days. Prior to joining WellAware, Katie held a variety of sales and marketing leadership positions with General Mills and Ecolab, including the management of international teams. She has also served as principal of a marketing consulting firm, specializing in projects for startup and early phase companies.
Katie holds a BA in Business Administration with minors in Anthropology and International Business from the University of Notre Dame and a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
